Pursuit
Thursday, October 1, 2020 by Unknown

I glimpse you just ahead barely beyond reach.  I run after you.

You have waited on me, endured my repeated delays, and now you appear coy, forcing my pursuit.

To what are we racing, what course do you lead me down?

The obstacles cannot restrain me; no matter their entangling ways.

I will leave them behind because all my life is reaching out toward you, to catch you, to run with you, to watch you move, to study your manner, to know you.
